The renovation of this 2000 sq ft classic NYC loft overcame the challenge of minimal natural light. With windows located at the front and back of this long, slender space, an open floor plan and effective use of artificial lighting create a sense of brightness. A colorful “box” located in the center of the loft utilizes uplights to balance natural light and bounce artificial light off plastered terracotta ceilings.
