For Savarona Restaurant on the Upper East Side in NYC, the client requested a clean modern aesthetic that also includes elements from Turkish culture and cuisine. Laser-cut screens, surfaces in hammered copper and a restrained palette of materials & colors are in keeping with this wish. The use of these more complex textures on a quiet background strikes a balance between modern and traditional.
