The challenge on this project was to present two distinct concepts for the same space.  Both needed to embody different aspects of Malaysian kite. In that scheme, the ceiling becomes a cloud of these kites reinterpreted in a clean white form.  For the “dark” scheme, the richness of palate, exciting cultural combinations, and intricate geometry of Malaysian kites, light scheme; aspects of Malaysian culture.
